Crest Nicholson and the Homes & Communities Agency were granted planning permission in March 2009 for the redevelopment of the site with 26 units, a mix of 12 no. 2 bedroom apartments, 2 no. 2 bedroom bungalows, 6 no. 2 bedroom houses and 6 no. 3 bedroom houses.

Construction has now started on the site.
